Chris McCombs

Chris McCombs grew up in Southern California, graduating from San Diego State in 1969. In November of that year, while training at NAS Saufley Field in Pensacola, Chris had a vision that would change his life. The vision raised the question, in a serious way: "What if there were a God? I mean, really were a God. And you could know Him directly. What then?" Thirty years of searching deepened into the mystical insight "There is only God". Chris is a poet and these are his work.

Modern ecstatic spiritual poetry, blending the mystical Heart tradition of Rumi and Hafiz with the non-dual wisdom of Ramana Maharshi. The mystical, ecstatic, non-dual, crazy wisdom from beyond the mind. The spark that is at the heart of all awakening. The blending of two great mystical traditions: Rumi, the best selling poet in North America today, and Ramana Maharshi, the famous advaita sage of India, whose most famous student, H.W.L. Punja, brought self realization to thousands of Westerners during the early and mid 1990's.
