There are moments in life so poignant your soul sings. We can’t dwell in these moments for long. It is their echo that I am trying to capture that it might serve to transport us back to these memories. For me it might be a beautiful sky, the notes of a soaring melody, the warmth of love and kindness, a fragrant flower, sun on a sparkling sea, creatures great and small in their complexity, a wild storm or a quiet calm that is so evocative. These moments speak to what is best in all of us. They enable us to step beyond our daily lives and inspire us to a greatness of heart. I try to bring a soft smile of the memory of these moments to my work.
